Welcome to the website of Red Crag Limited, we are a friendly and experienced website and software development company based in Lancashire in the north west of England. We provide effective and affordable IT solutions, specialising in bespoke software and databases, website development, content management systems and consultancy.
Version 2 of our content management system, Pilot CMS, developed in-house by Red Crag, was officially launched on the 19th August. Version 1 of the Pilot software has enabled many businesses and organisations to control and manage their own websites, their way, quickly and easily and at a reasonable cost. Pilot 2 launch event!
The Pilot 2 launch event took place on the 19th August and was attended by a range of people and businesses from across Lancashire.
Attendees were given a demonstration of the new Pilot CMS system and given an opportunity to have a look around and a try out of the system themselves. Plenty of coffee and cakes were provided and enjoyed!

Mid Argyll Pipe Band website
The website of the Mid Argyll Pipe Band went live in May 2009 and is the latest Pilot 2 site to be launched.
The Mid Argyll Pipe Band was founded in 1927 and is known for having a strong and growing youth element. The Band has gained its respected reputation through community work and for taking their cultural heritage to new audiences in Europe. New names, new faces!
After six years of trading, Red Crag has become incorporated and from May 2009 Red Crag IT Solutions will be known as Red Crag Limited. Along with the name change, comes a new face, we are pleased to welcome Jenny Pollard as a company director responsible for Finance, Sales and Marketing.
